Our legacy PBX still works — why should we switch?+
Because ISDN has been discontinued and spare parts for older PBX systems are increasingly hard to find. Every outage gets more expensive. Cloud VoIP is future-proof, cheaper to operate and offers features that are simply not possible with a legacy PBX — such as remote-work telephony or Teams integration.
3CX, STARFACE or Teams Phone — which is right for us?+
Teams Phone is ideal if you already use Microsoft 365 and want a simple solution. 3CX offers maximum flexibility and great value for money. STARFACE is the German alternative with strong support. We advise vendor-neutrally and recommend what fits your infrastructure.
Can we keep our phone numbers?+
Yes, 100%. All existing phone numbers are ported. The process typically takes 2–4 weeks (regulatory timeline), but we handle all the paperwork. On the day of porting, there is no downtime.
How long does the switchover take?+
The technical setup takes 2–3 business days. Together with number porting, plan for 3–5 weeks from order to go-live. During the transition period, you continue to make calls as normal.
What does cloud VoIP cost compared to our old system?+
Our clients typically save 50–70% on monthly costs. ISDN connections cost €25–40 per line plus PBX maintenance. SIP trunks start at €3–5 per channel, cloud PBX licenses at €10–15 per user. Plus, hardware maintenance and on-site visits are eliminated.
Do we need new phones?+
Not necessarily. Many employees make calls via headset on their PC or via a smartphone app. If you want IP phones, we recommend devices from Yealink or Snom — starting at around €80 per unit. Old analog phones can continue to be used via adapters.
